NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor
The Battle Ready: Equip Your Squad Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Fides et Virtus Ministry (“Sponsor”).
This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, Meta, or any other third-party platform on which the Giveaway may be promoted.
2. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins on September 22, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on November 11, 2026 (“Giveaway Period”).
Entries received after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible.
3. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, representatives, or individuals directly involved in administering the Giveaway, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible to win.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. How to Enter
During the Giveaway Period, eligible participants may enter by completing and submitting the official Battle Ready: Equip Your Squad Giveaway entry form on the Fides et Virtus Ministry website.
Limit one (1) entry per person.
No purchase, payment, book purchase, merchandise purchase, Amazon review, social-media interaction, donation, or other consideration is required to enter or win.
Purchasing Battle Ready or any other product will not increase an entrant's chances of winning.
Incomplete, fraudulent, automated, duplicate, or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified at the Sponsor's reasonable discretion.
5. Prize
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded.
The Grand Prize consists of:
Ten (10) signed copies of Battle Ready
One (1) Battle Ready Group Study Starter Kit
One (1) personalized message from author Adam Maxey
One (1) approximately 60-minute virtual kickoff session with Adam Maxey for the winner and/or the winner's church, men's ministry, veterans organization, small group, Bible study, or similar group
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $350.
The prize is intended to help equip a church, men's ministry, veterans organization, Bible study, small group, or similar community for group study and discipleship; however, an eligible entrant is not required to be formally affiliated with an organization in order to enter.
The physical portion of the prize will be shipped at the Sponsor's expense to a valid mailing address within the United States provided by the winner.
No payment, purchase, shipping charge, or other fee will be required from the winner to receive the prize.
The prize has no cash alternative and may not be substituted or transferred except at the Sponsor's discretion if circumstances outside the Sponsor's reasonable control make a stated component unavailable.
6. Winner Selection and Odds
One (1) potential winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
A purchase does not increase the odds of winning.
7. Winner Notification
The potential winner will be contacted using the email address provided with the winning entry.
The potential winner must respond to the Sponsor's notification within 72 hours and provide the information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and deliver the prize.
If the potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required period, is determined to be ineligible, or declines the prize, the Sponsor may randomly select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.
8. Winner Announcement
The winner is scheduled to be announced on November 14, 2026, after eligibility has been confirmed.
The winner may be announced through the Fides et Virtus Ministry website and/or its social-media channels.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor may publicly identify the winner by first name and last initial and state of residence in connection with the winner announcement, except where prohibited by law.
9. Virtual Kickoff Session
The virtual kickoff session will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable date and time following winner confirmation.
The session will be conducted remotely using a mutually available video-conferencing platform. The winner is responsible for obtaining the internet connection and equipment necessary to participate.The session has no cash value and may not be exchanged for money.
10. General Conditions
By entering, participants agree to comply with these Official Rules.
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries reasonably determined to have been submitted fraudulently, through automated means, or in violation of these Official Rules.
If circumstances outside the Sponsor's reasonable control materially interfere with the administration, security, fairness, or proper operation of the Giveaway, the Sponsor may modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway to the extent permitted by applicable law. If feasible, the Sponsor may select a winner from eligible entries received before such action.
11. Privacy
Information submitted through the Giveaway entry form will be used to administer the Giveaway, contact the potential winner, verify eligibility, and deliver the prize.
Entering the Giveaway does not require an entrant to subscribe to marketing communications.
Entrants may separately and voluntarily consent to receive emails, ministry resources, information about Battle Ready, and other communications from Fides et Virtus Ministry. Declining marketing communications will not affect an entrant's eligibility or chances of winning.
12. Release
To the extent permitted by applicable law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Fides et Virtus Ministry and its representatives from claims arising directly from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize, except to the extent such liability cannot legally be excluded.
13. Platform Disclaimer
This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, Meta, or any other third-party platform through which the Giveaway may be advertised or shared.
Entrants understand that information submitted through the Giveaway is being provided to the Sponsor and not to those third-party platforms.
14. Winner Information
After the winner has been confirmed and announced on November 14, 2026, information identifying the winner as permitted by applicable law will be available on the Fides et Virtus Ministry website for a reasonable period following the Giveaway.
15. Governing Law
The Giveaway is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
